Yesterday's mini-retreat was one of the best ever. Maybe it was the blue sky, the mix of women, or the mix of cheeses . . .
By the end of the afternoon, I could see powerful women prepared to take that next step. As a way of affirming their commitment, I asked them to complete the sentence: "It's okay for me to take my Do-Over! because . . ." Here are some of their answers:
Because I don't have my husband trying to control me anymore.
Because I don't have any other options.
Because I owe it to myself and others to become the person I'm meant to be.
Because I deserve to be successful.
Because I can.
Because my current career can support me part-time if I need it.
Because it's time and I'm ready.
Because I am the captain of my ship, and it's my right and privilege to determine the direction of my life.
