Ann Daly: clarity COACH

for women and creative professionals

Ann DalyAre you at a crossroads in your career or personal life?

Are you in need of a safe space to reimagine your future?

Are you reaching toward the creative life of your dreams?

Clarity coaching will help you to get clear about what you want and how to get it.

Although Clarity is usually thought of as an outcome, clarity is actually a process. It is a habit of mind that you can learn.

Clarity is a process that enables you to sort things out calmly, even playfully. Clarity is your catalyst to action and a more gratifying life. When you feel clear, decisions become simple and next steps become apparent. You can move forward with ease and confidence.

"You find clarity in one of two ways.
Either you endure the passage of time and hard knocks,
or you talk with someone who can help you
see past your fears to recognize what's most important.
If you want to take this second path,
it’s Ann Daly's counsel I recommend.
She has an amazing ability to help you discover
what you want and how to get there."

Practical Business Ally

We will undertake a personalized conversation that is safe and confidential. Using the techniques of strategic inquiry, deep dialogue, and visualization, I will help you to see your situation clearly, identify your deepest desires, and choose your best options. You’ll get there by:

  • expanding your field of vision
  • uncovering blind spots
  • increasing focus
  • shifting perspective
  • sharpening your eye for detail

Clarity coaching is a process that requires honesty and rigor. And, as with any process, it takes time. We will commit to a minimum of ten weekly fifty-minute telephone sessions. (Please note that, depending upon your particular situation, ten weeks may or may not be sufficient time to complete the clarity process.)

“I was stuck in a quagmire, blaming it on other people, feeling unappreciated and not knowing what to do next. Working with Ann, I learned how to pull myself out of that quagmire, discovered some options, and mapped out some possible routes. Now I'm the one in control of the compass.”

Strategic communications advisor

“Ann combines respect for dreams with pragmatic solutions to make them come true, one sane step at a time.”

“Ann reinforced my confidence as I sought new directions. She helped me to push the envelope further, stretching in new ways, in order to find the place I wanted.”
Nancy J.
Organizational Development Consultant

“I feel so much stronger. Things bother me less. One of your last insights--that my company is investing in me, not supporting me"--continues to resonate. You've helped me grow up.”
Virginia M.
Financial Advisor

"I am so grateful for finding Ann! She is an attentive and empathetic listener, an insightful and kind teacher, and a compassionately fierce truth-teller. She has helped me to see what I see, know what I know, and do what I love. After a very short time of talking with Ann (and doing the thoughtful exercises she assigned) I was able to find a way to work—and live with working—that is satisfying and productive and good and had eluded me for years. I was discouraged and frustrated when I called Ann, and now I am excited and working steadily."
Annie L.
Writer/Performer

“I worked with Ann through a major transition, discovering my new station in life as an empty-nester, artist, and seminary student. Ann’s coaching was deeply empathetic, wise, and practical. The clarity I found was crucial and directive, enabling me to proceed down the path I am to follow. What a pleasant journey.”

“Ann helped me translate what had been a pervasive sense of confusion into actions and attitudes that moved me into a new phase of personal and professional vibrancy — with joy, equilibrium, and renewed energy. I continue to feel the impact of our work together, as I notice myself responding to challenging situations with an inner grace and clarity.”
Molly S.
Artistic Director

“Ann coached me during a developmental period when my thinking and processes were shifting far and wide. She acted as a critical guide, prompting reexamination of my assumptions. I was able to create a more thorough foundation to work from, toward a more intelligent and essential set of actions. If you were training for the Olympics, you would have a coach. In the field of arts, Ann Daly is the coach you want.”

“Thank you so much for your quick and patient intellect, and its direction toward my needs. Your heart, too, is much appreciated.”
David R.

“Through her sense of humor, insight, and active listening, Ann helped free me from an unyielding (stuck) position and shift to a more open, fluid, and useful perspective. I feel a greater sense of calm and peace, and I have a better structure in place with which to continue my journey.”
