“Going for an outcome that I see is greater than my fear inspires me to go forward in spite of fear.” Judith Light
As a coach, I hear a lot about fear. It’s only human, that we feel trepidation when we’re taking a leap. Isn’t that part of the exhilaration?
I’ve come to believe that fear is the price we pay for ambition and adventure. It’s an ordinary — if annoying — part of life, like flat tires and missing socks.
Fear only becomes a problem if we invest it with more growl and grief than it really has. Judith Light is right. It’s the momentum of your desire that will exile fear. Channel your energy into that desire. Share it, prepare for it, take action toward it.
